Hey guys! First Journal I've written in a long time...

So here's the deal. I got my profile featured by MumblingIdiot on his journal and so now I get to do my own with him as numero uno. It's fun, you get to see what three deviations I choose, and you get some exposure!

MumblingIdiot: Amazing, fantastical style which varies from indy comics, colorful illustrations, and fine art like paintings. He ranges from near minimalist-like designs, to highly detailed illustrations, and is adept at both stunning color palettes and gray-scale. He is talented and will go far.

2)
tin-squid: A friend of mine, he is a true artist. He excels at any art and any medium he attempts. He is an amazing comic artist with a dynamic style and the heart of a story-teller. Whatever he ends up doing with his life, hopefully comics, he will always find a place for himself in the art world.

3)
kellyy: Her style is nicely indy and has a very airy feel. Her comics are interesting and humorous for anyone who has every had to work with customers. She makes her word balloons look interesting to read.

4)
Dirk-the-Jerk: He is a comic artist. He is great at producing comics on a regular basis. His comics have great environments mixed with cartoony characters. He makes good use of color, story, and kirby-dots.

5)
Helbetico: He is amazingly proficient in psychedelic and surreal illustration. His style ranges from extremely colorful vector art, to extremely detailed tech-pen designs, to inked pages that will make your head spin. He has a vast array of talent and is an astounding visual artist.

6)
TheGreatMC: He has an intricate and ornate style. He doesn't use computer tricks or filters to create his beautifully rendered environments or his colorful characters. He has a sense of traditional drawing techniques and the mind of a writer, both aiding in his fantastical drawings. He has an extensive gallery of beautiful pieces.

7)
bobbymono: He does awesome comics. They are humorous and often riddled with pop culture and movie references. His sense of humor can be summed up by his Deviant Art Interests, "[I like] Quilting, Hard Liquor, and Throwing Up on Quilts". If you haven't read his Bobby Mono comic series you NEED to check it out!

8)
manika13: She has a very small gallery but it is interesting. Her humor is very much web-based, influenced by sites such as 4chan and the like. Her style is computer-based, using software to cut and paste various images. Her work is interesting for anyone who likes the "interwebz".

9)
DOOMchan: He/she doesn't have a very large gallery but his/her characters are well executed. Definitely anime and manga inspired, his/her characters are drawn well, with expressive anatomy and fine rendering. His/her work is interesting for anyone who likes anime, manga, and/or muscular naked men.

10)
InsgesamtIngobert: She is an illustrator with a diverse painterly style. Her work varies from surreal cartoon, to expressionistic, to even impressionistic. She is skilled with both traditional and digital painting, as well as a variety of other media. She has lots of potential for growth and hopefully one day we'll see her make a name for herself.

Okay, I'm bending the rules a bit and I'm doing one extra feature for a friend of mine...

georgeholguin: His style is very fun. With a fine art mind set and a cartoonist approach he creates interesting characters with light pastel color schemes. He lets what is on his mind guide him and influence him in his work. He has a lot of potential for a future artistic career.

cacophonypop: She is a very interesting artist. She has a very definite illustration style which plays on simplistic but interesting characters and designs. She successfully uses techniques of collage and graphic design in order to display interesting works that playfully grab the viewers attention. I want her to do more work like the thumbnails above!!!
